It’s funny listening to Pferdeturdy speak to the power of diversity when there are no people of color on his executive staff or BoD. His notion of diversity is hiring a ‘non-Aggie’ graduate. He plays the same ‘bait-n-switch’ marketing ploy as the Dallas Cowboys owner. TFMC Indian engineers make 1/6 the salary of their domestic counterparts, again, the Power of Diversity.

No I didn't miss the point. The point is it's obvious how things are done my the management of this company. And the only choice you have is to ignore it and draw a check or go somewhere else. Crying about the hypocrisy, racism and other BS won't accomplish anything. No matter what year you're stuck in or where you stand on issues of race , creed , color , diversity , morals, ethics , integrity or any of the other BS this company preaches but doesn't really give a s— about.

You missed the whole point of the OP. its not about whether the minions of the company have an opportunity to progress based on performance without prejudice, its about whether the decison-makers that are steering this company are listening to all vantage points from diverse viewpoints and personal experiences.

Wow such negativity. Life is what you make of it. If you believe something will happen than your belief turns into reality. I think some minorities need to stop focusing on a past and start focusing on the
thier future. As long as you are looking backwards you can't move forwards. Our country's attitudes have changes over the last 50 years. We are not the ignorant people we once were, so stop blaming others for your situation. At TFMC there are plenty of opportunity for all races to move into leadership roles. It's your work ethics and your attitude that get you to the top. However, sometimes you do have to become a bobble head to upper management in order to get to the very top.
I'm white and served in many ways though my life. The only thing that sickens me more than the hypocrisy of the management in this lying POS company is someone who cries that they can't get ahead in life because of who or what they are. Prejudice comes from humans of all colors so any man or woman who uses that excuse for not being a successful compassionate member of society is a sad excuse for a human being.
You must be the genius we always hear about at work. Of course they only put white people at the top. That is any company in the United States. Sure! All of them will always say they are interested in diversity but we all know that is just to acknowledge the concept of diversity, not the actual implementation of it (unless its adding women to the team, but only white women). Besides, you know where the minorities belong right? Serving their white massas at the bottom. Now be quiet and enjoy your low paid slog to retirement like the rest of us slaves.
