If you own any Oxy at a high price then now is a great time to average down. My avg cost per share was 38, and I was able to cut that down to 26. Hopefully it will work out.
We hit below 10 today around 930cst. It quickly shot back up.
I held it as long as I could hoping for a buyer or whatever, refusing to accept more than 70% losses on 1000 shares. At the end automatic sale at 11.8 last week and it seems it went further down. Good luck to everyone, that's the first and hopefully last time I see such a drop in one of my stocks.
Maybe I can pretend that I made $1000 by selling 2 days early?
How did you get that? Seriously.
OXY down $0.88 today to $10.19.
Worse debt and worse prospects get hit the worse. It all makes sense
We go below $10 again, bankruptcy is imminent.
Oxy will NOT go below $10
All stocks are down. Oil and Gas are not the pretty investments now, and with fossil fuels being bad for certain politics, and the economy still shutdown it is going to hurt for a while. I personally think when the economy opens back up and people are gong about their business things will get better. But again a lot rides on the election and what policy towards oil gets put in place. I think if someone was going to buy us they could pick us up for about 15.00 a share and take on the debt pretty easily. Debt is not that big a deal when you buy a company that should be worth twice what debt is.
Oxy -5%
PXD -4%
CVX -1.26%
XOM -1.65%
EOG -7.14%
Its already been there this year and we are about to hit it again. BoD can't ignore VHs problems anymore. She gots to go.
Anyone think Chevron can make an offer now?
I think it'll revisit the $9.00 range, maybe dip below... unless another O&G buys us!
I think we'll see it re-test the $9.00 range, maybe even dip below... Unless another Major O&G scoops us up!
I do!
