Any news on this? Sounds like a plan.

Interested to see if they will sell Voltera acquisition will be the same as contrail, just giving money away for a software that barely works and is competitive in the market. But oh well, the founders are friends with our internal juniper team, so what’s the problem of giving them some more money again for something that doesn’t really work?

If Juniper buys Volterra, I would say it is a scam. ex-Juniper employees started Contrail which Juniper bought. Those same Contrail founders started Volterra and now Juniper buys them again. This seems like a legal way of transferring money from Juniper shareholders to some corrupt ex-Juniper employees. Juniper does not benefit at all from these acquisitions.

Springpath - that’s a good one. Juniper currently in early to mid discussions with Volterra about an acquisition. Numbers in the vicinity of $100M being tossed around.

Wouldn't be surprised if it happened. Saw Juniper trying to buy another company where a C-level is an advisor/board member recently (no investment on them). I guess its more about being friends with the C-level than strategy at the end

Doesn’t seem likely. Especially because of the investment in stackpath
