Yo! Is everyone getting pay hikes? They are giving in tech. Just checking, things seem good, right?

Yes, this is an all-in gamble, a desperation survival bet.
I heard there were big cuts back in March – are the raises just getting them back where they were so people don't bail?
Directors and above got 22% or more hikes. And stocks. Is this a good sign?
Tech dept got pay raises, my buddy got 15% increase in pay. Meanwhile those of us in retail get laidoff.
Yes they constantly repeat the same designs of their products. Even the top shop product falls apart. It’s all way overpriced. Better product on Amazon
I'm not too sure if Nordstrom is doing well but I hope so. Perhaps, the company is just being stingy to their employees. One store just received 30 cartons of return items in a day. Most of them are anniversary products. I believe lingerie is doing so well. Customers seem to hoard all those hanky panky and natori panties including men's underwear and bonobo pants. However, I still see a lot of Zella leggings left over in the back stock and on floor, Chelsea28 tops, and Bp/ Topshop available as well.
Have you noticed that Nordstrom sort of skip the process of production in order to meet customer demand on anniversary merchandise? I.E, they only pop 1 snap top center front on the zella jacket and didn't include zipper or other kind of fastener. No buttons on the Halogen, BP, Leith, Topshop cardigans? It looks to me that they repeat similar style from the year/ 2 years before because it costs them extra money to produce new patterns. Also, the Nordstrom signature sweaters this year look just like Halogen ones from LY. They just slapped it with different label. Luckily, the company didn't manufacture excessive inventory. Well, I hope they're doing great.
Director and above are getting stocks vesting from next year. Rest are getting the stick.
They reduced inventory but stocked up for Anniversary, and then it seems they sold out of a lot of anniversary items so it seems they are doing well so far 3rd quarter.
No stimulus though and PPP money ending it will be up to those loyal customers to keep buying, and they probably will.
Will management snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
Couple of articles about Nordstrom’s inventory management, maybe they need to keep the team who has improved and tuned item logistics.

I say it’s the old retail blood in the family making itself known, patient and predatory.
Tech holding the execs hostage? They should use the Cloud to neuter the tech parasites.
How many Nordy Bucks are they giving you?
Huh? Of course. Why can’t they raise hourly employee as well if things turn out good? Tech already makes tons of money.
