Thread regarding Conduent layoffs

So Quiet

Postings here have really quieted down. Is that because everyone who had a voice either left or has been laid off?

Or perhaps we are all just blinded by our fearless leader rattling off 'inspiration' quotes since he is at a loss for his own words these days?

There’s not as much need for layoffs when they can’t flatten the attrition rate. Big leadership question going around: “why are people are leaving”

On the plus side, the more that quit, the more $ to hire more managers and metrics creating people to delude yourself that you’re a high functioning organisation.

In Monterrey Mexico they are about to lay off the Xerox LATAM DMO team, the ones who were supposed to be laid off by the end of June. Supervisor is giving training to some dudes in Chile i have heard... seeing them getting the boot after giving their hearts out is pretty disgusting IMHO

Here is an update for you. Conduent continually breaks down their already archaic systems to screw their employees out of money, and force downtime pay as opposed to their hourly rates. In turn saving the company money. But good luck trying to prove that. Automation is the future, and if you are an employee in the US it’s just a matter of time before the axe comes down.

More Furloughs are coming in Q4 - it worked so well for the execs getting their bonuses meeting their "goals", they will do it again.

I'm still checking this site for layoff news, but there hasn't been any in my department lately.

Our department is already pretty eviscerated and it'd be a challenge for them to find more people that could be laid off without breaking client contracts. Wouldn't be surprised if they try anyway, though.
