TC Energy hiring process

I work at TC and every time I see people that join TC I wonder: how that happens.... with those skills they are bringing on board.... or correct me to say: with no required skills.
If HR reads this blog, please pay attention that bringing someone, who is a friend or a relative of a hiring manager, is not the best way to find talent out there. Other talented people being interviewed are left behind. We eventually left with spending more money to improve our current processes.

I heard a few companies have implemented a database...a simple database to keep track of who knows who within the company...
We should do the same!!! HAVE EVERYONE complete and SIGN an official form, to declare any relatives, friends, and CLOSE friends, TC Energy employees/Contractors, they meet with outside "office" work/business hours (people from work with whom they attend events/church events?!, etc..., etc...), ..MAYBE this way some leaders/supervisors/etc...will stop accepting gifts, money, dinners, etc...to recommend people...WHOEVER ends up declarying all sorts of lies on the official form, should be kicked out of TC Energy and reported to professional membership associations, etc...It's sick how so many people have been let go in the past from permanent positions, and brought back as Contractors, and yes, (someone else mentioned that...) apparently "a Church is accepting contributions" from people they place on various jobs/roles...hmmm...WHAT IS GOING ON??????????????????

SOOOO many useless people kept on Contract...Get rid of Contractors!!! What is this "Contractor on Full Time permanent basis"!!! pufff

Even I've heard to get any job at TC, you have to get your resume passed on by an employee directly to the hiring manager

Nothing you can do here. HR at TC does not control that unlike other companies like CP or Imperial.
Hiring folks keep bringing their friends and relatives. Especially now when there’s so many people out of work.
