2020 Performance Reviews

So without any reviews this year, is there any speculation on how personal performance will be measured? Reuse last year’s review? Rate everyone the same?

The ones left were the ones who took care of stuff, the little things after the big things were taken care of, but we shall see how these presentations will save your jobs.

The crazy thing you are asking about performance review but really where the and bonus need to be applied to were the ones who were laid off. They were the ones who made a difference!!
Not the one left behind...

There may be no 'official' performance reviews this year (they've always been closed-door and shady AF anyway) but you can bet your bottom dollar your supervisor knows if they're putting your name on the next layoff list or not–and they'll tell you afterwards that "it came from above me; I had nothing to do with it".

Don't kid yourselves. If you're gonna be on that list, start looking for other employment and stop wasting time trying to outshine your peers b/c at the end of the day it doesn't matter how much work you did, how much money you saved, or what a good emplyess you've been; the only think that'll matter is how much ego you've stoked and how much a-$$ and boots you've licked.

Layoffs are not done....don’t be naive...How is the building getting paid for? Who will find it with stocks at MRO needing as low as they are? Seriously it is plainly Obviously with less employees, we all knew that once announced the building location, which is an Expensive location, stocks are down, so the new building with be half empty...
I am of the opinion there will be more to come. Well more firing. So Tillerman can keep his race cars and his slapping speedo motorcycle outfits.
And when are they doing to get ride of the clown TA? Ever since he was brought on everything has been down hill and changed for no good.

Some people don’t seem to be very forward thinking. This question isn’t about if there will be a bonus or not. Moving forward with the potential for further cuts or personnel movement beyond 2020, a performance review could be one of the few metrics of accountability to fall back on.

Why would a person expect a year-end bonus when the company has performed so poorly?

YE write ups are trash. Only thing that matters is RCSs—and it’s more Amit your manager and how much they’re willing to fight during a tanning session. If you come out of one of those with no stick or bonus during your debrief, a case is being made to have you fired so get a head star for a new job because either you’re a waste of payroll or your boss/manager is perceives you as a threat to them getting attention and want you gone.

Either way, don’t let MRO control your life or wellbeing; look out for YOURSELF—and record every conversation you have.

Fact 1 - Calibration sessions are more about your manager's personality and persistence than your behaviors and results.

Fact 2 - Contrary to what HR says, unless you're getting fired, the absolute feedback (ie goals, YE write-up) from your boss is meaningless. The relative feedback (ie calibration sessions, ranking) is all that matters.

Rate everyone the same hopefully. I’m sick of the back stabbing and dog eat dog atmosphere that comes along with ratings. I’m ranked well every year but the review process breeds a bad environment. We can’t be one team if we’re all out to one up each other.

It will be based on how much you contribute to the PAC.

There will be an internal review with managers - force rankings. The employee will not know this ranking. The combination of the FR and job criticality will determine who is on the next layoff list.
