It is helpful to see where job cuts are taking place and areas impacted. If you could list any you hear about, it would help. I genuinely believe the company is so big, we are not aware that job losses are taking place right now. Please list any you hear of below.

Will redundancy packages be offered to everyone laid off or just the favoured few? What about fixed term contract staff?

Layoff time frame announcements seems to be following October 2016 cut back. You will find out before 10/15/2020
Even though we are largely all safe until end Q1 the news is now ready to unfold over next six weeks...so we at least are not in suspense for too much longer

Globally, RDS will cut 25% of P&T costs. Senior MGMt didn’t share what % of P&T staff will lose their jobs.
Shell Deer Park cut maintenance salary folks back. Combined job roles as well. We have laid off/unmapped 50 jobs and 50 jobs won’t be filled. So in total about 100 jobs lost. More to come. Some people getting laid off are supposedly getting put back as hourly workers due to short workforce.
Repatriation, SVS packages and hiring freeze at all Shell DS facilities.
