There is a suspicious number common workplaces when you look at the LinkedIn of senior managers, directors, and VPs of some orgs. Citrix doesn't like to promote from within and hates to retrain engineers. It almost feels in some places nepotism is rewarded.
If you're complaining about not getting ahead, maybe you should start with learning how to spell the name of the freakin' product! Good lord, it's amazing you even have a job.
