I haven’t really seen anyone bring this up. Are there any long term contractors left out there with OXY? And if so have you heard anything about the hiring freeze or being hired on at any point? Or anything in general? Without the corporate emails it’s a lot of being in the dark lately.

GOM has many embedded long term contractors who are essential to all sections of the organization. Every staff employee will agree. Oxy can’t seem to understand their value and keeps them at 70% pay with no end in sight. You can guarantee they aren’t thinking about loyalty anymore.
I work with a group of contractors that do a great job. I think the ones that are left would of been hard to replace or had a long-term contract, and work that needs to get done from the APC acquisition.

What about the contractors that are going on 2+ years? Not sent away and not employees.
These long term contractors were either sent away or converted to employees back in 2019.
