Rumor is another 20% cut is COMING more layoffs. What have people heard?

Didn’t you guys say there was doing to be a 90 day shutdown? How did that “rumor” turnout?
Unfortunately not a single rumor on this site ever turns out to be true. I could really get behind some of these ideas.

With lower demand of commercial airplanes during COVID-19 pandemic and many order cancellations, it makes senses that Boeing should do a massive workforce reduction (30% or more cut) by this September or October. If Boeing doesn’t do that, there must be a political involvement reason. Then the massive cut will happen after the election.
did you hear this or just speculation? its grim and that's been how its going but you have a source?

On September 14th, Calhoun will announce 30% cuts across all business units, including military, and the end of 787 production in Everett. VLO requests are looking lower than expected, and may be cancelled overall if number do not increase significantly

Manager told me 30%-35% total reduction in Puget Sound workforce.
I have all most a year and a half. I have gotten two WARNs and both were reminded.

Lol 20%? Try 200%. I heard they're going to lay everyone off, recall em, and lay em off again immediately for good measure and to meet the 200% mark.
I have avoided layoffs so far. I just bought a house and a truck. Hopefully, my wife and I can keep avoiding lay offs since we both only have 6 years
You guys are all wrong. Next ILO is 9/18/2020 and it will only be another few hundred or so. The big one will be 10/16/2020 but will depend on how many VLO's are received. Worst case another 5-10%. Anyone with under 5 years could be at risk IMO.

where did you hear this 20% cuts coming? 20% of the current company , what would that be? How many are left with these first cuts?
Realignment makes sense after a 50% cut in manpower.
Managers out in the Main factory in Everett taking about the 90 day shutdown thing again. When they were told it was an old rumor, 3 different managers said that it would be from October through the end of the year for “realignment purposes”, and they seems very sure of that.
There a rumor that shareholders are going to file a class action lawsuit against past CEO AND AND BOEING BOARD MEMBERS.
