Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

WSJ article coming out soon

WSJ is coming out with reporting this week that will hit a nerve with analysts and investors. Nearly 20 current and former employees contributed. Exxon has already been asked for comment and they are preempting the blow.

Make sure to share it broadly when it gets published - not here but where it matters and reaches eyeballs.
The company’s PR, PG&A, and the mouthpieces in HR may deny and discredit, so we must do our best to validate it.

Even if you think you’re safe (for now), it’s in your best interest that mgmt listens and course corrects, before the bunker mentality takes over completely.
And if you were (or will be) PiPed, it’s even more critical to set the record straight. Reclaim your dignity - it helps with moving on.

Numbers should speak for themselves, and the magnitude of the failure of leadership lays bare in eroded value and diminishing prospects; however, through personal stories is how people remember and relate to issues.
If you were thinking about it but haven’t yet, do speak up, add your experience, and say your piece. I guarantee you, reporters are very interested in what you have to say. And it feels good to unburden. WSJ contact is available on threads in this forum.

The trolls and blind loyalists have already been lurking on this forum, and no doubt they will be their ugly, disruptive, and reactionary selves. Lashing out is all they got left. They have lost credibility; analysts and investors can see past the koolaid, propaganda, and lies.
