News today that BP will be selling it’s London HQ.

Well I suppose they were one of the 3 most valuable companies in the world when they bought it, they’re only just the top 100 nowadays so probably can no longer justify a large office in one of the most exclusive parts of London.
The only reason bp is selling real estate like St. James is so they can say they are using less carbon to run the facility, electricity, heat, aircon, etc. And employees working from home don’t release as much carbon when they don’t commute. As with most things, it’s all about appearance. Anyone who can’t work as effectively from home as they do at the office will be let go. You better adapt!
