Date August 26th, Boeing handed out pink slips and layoff notices were handed out to crane operators and production workers. More are to hit tomorrow along with Round II of voluntary layoffs that were mentioned in July are now manifesting after orders have been reported to be in the single-digit status.
Unknown as to what other areas / plants are to be served with the same fate.
Looks like this was also announced in August of 2020 as well as internal from the looks of things.

Boeing is now moving out their 787 production to the Carolinas. More layoffs will be coming to Everett as they move that production out of the state.
