Thread regarding ADP layoffs

CEO has Napoleon Complex

It is quite clear this CEO has no idea what he is doing but is desperate to attempt to be relevant. His shortcomings are many but among them is his lack of understanding of the business and what made it run and it lacking so badly now to the point where the company may be the next Circuit City. Carlos Rodriquez does not know how to really lead, he only knows greed. The board needs to quickly wake up and realize the long term damage he has caused this business and replace him. As a current VP in ADP I am doing my best to effect change but trying to avoid getting targeted so it is difficult. I implore everyone to write the board and voice the negative impacts caused from this CEO and urge them to replace him. I am dead serious about this. Do it anonymously or not, but we need to change this horrible situation and it is clearly only getting worse day by day.

The board didn't want the bad press associated with the wife beater CEO Gary Butler. They gave him 30 million to walk away.

I bet the board wouldn't want the bad press associated with a CEO and any illegal activity. The question I have is how much would they give this CEO to get rid of him?

Seeing a current VP say this, even anonymously, speaks volumes for the true concern all should have over the situation at ADP. Even though this is an anonymous forum, I don't feel giving specifics is prudent. Suffice it to say that if the board were to take a real hard look at certain expenditures on certain new generation products and laboratories, the lease agreements entered into by ADP many years ago, and the continued expenditure on said items despite zero return on investment, they might start to realize where all of ADP's money has gone to over the years.

Sorry for the previous posts typos: let’s try again.

Yes, it’s quite clear Carlos is an imbecile and does need to be replaced, however, who in their right mind would want to inherit this mess by replacing him?

So true. The focus is constantly on "reduce staff" instead of serve our clients better. If you look at business, it is about slashing budgets and asking the VPs to reduce staff. Same story with GPT. The transformation office is nothing but "do you want money to do something, show me how many people you are going to layoff with the TO initiative". And by the way, we will come after you for those "savings".

We all want to see how much "reduction" in pay/stock/bonus has the XCOM taken if ADP is really doing that bad. I bet there was no dent in the pay/bonus/stock.
