UNIONS FOR SW ORLANDO EMPLOYEES

It is time for us to rise up against the horrific actions our employer is taking and form unions.

  1. Replacing people on furlough with cheap labor
  2. Failure to pay out severances
  3. Mandatory auditions for performers to get their jobs back including a pay cut and 24 hours notice
  4. Lack of communication.
  5. Lack of workplace safety
  6. Lack of respect.
  7. Less security officers to keep everyone safe
  8. Oppressive policies
  9. Reduction In benefits
  10. Clueless leadership

It is obvious that we each can’t fight this greedy beast separately. But we can fight for a better workplace and better treatment by forming unions, joining together, and fighting together.

Right to work state just means you don't have to pay dues but you can still be represented by a union. That's all it means. It's designed to make unions struggle more financially since you don't have to pay your dues. Has nothing to do with your right to organize.

Nice attempt at fear-mongering. The National Labor Relations Board considers discussions related to forming unions as “protected activity.” As long as said discussions do not occur on company time or on company property.

Employees may discuss terms and conditions of unemployment and union organizing OFF premise and OFF company time without fear of termination.

My guess is the "right to work state" guy is more so referencing that anyone talking about it ahead of time can be fired without having to be given a reason. So whether or not the state can bar you from forming unions or not does not play into this particular event.

Mr./Ms. Right to Work:
EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!!
A State CAN NOT bar workers from forming unions. the National Labor Relations Board governs the rules regarding unions at the Federal Level. States can not assert that workers can not for unions.

A right to work state is one that has passed legislation stating that employees are entitled to work in unionized workplaces without actually joining the union or paying regular union dues. In other words, an employer can not force you to join a union.
