Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Double EBITDA but no raises again!

DST under SSNC almost doubled EBITDA from $430 to $800 million and... no merit increases this year! If you get 3% you'll be very very lucky. The business unit doubles profitablity and what do employees get? Spit in the face? A hearty eff you? Oh if you're really valued you got worthless RSUs!

It boggles the mind really. Ok, cut more jobs? Not much more to cut guy! My prediction is 50% off the stock price by 4th quarter when reality is fully revealed.

If you get 1/2% you will be lucky.

Horrible Owner, Horrible Executive Management, Horrible Directors, Horrible Direction, Horrible Work Hours, Horrible Workload, Horrible Moral, Horrible Raises, Horrible Sweat Shop, Horrible Job Security, Horrible and Abusive at Age Discrimination and the most non caring F’ing corporation in the Kansas City Metro area. If you have a chance to hire on here don’t do it. Take a job at Wal-Mart they will treat you better.

I worked for Health Solutions for one month and walked out and never went back. I was hired as a DBA and knew I made a mistake after working my first week. I had never seen an organization with such unprofessional management. I had never walked out of a job in my life but this was the exception. My first week I was asked to work 60 hours and just get paid for 40. The next week it was demanded I work close to an 80 hour work week. I talked to several other people there and was told that was the norm. I was told they frequently do layoffs and then demand the people left just work more hours due to the work load. They fit every requirement of a sweat shop and the has been managers that are left there threaten the people with their jobs if they do not do as they say. I advise professionals in the industry and clients to stay away from this organization.

Get out of that place. It is known in both the health care and financial industries that SS&C is a sweat shop. Dont fool yourself and think you have a future here.

SSDD for the last decade. You work in a sweat shop that is owned by a dictator.
