There's still a few "in the know" people who know of some of the current stupidity going on at a relatively high level. They're not on the retail side.

Call Eddie Lampert and ask him....Most of the other people 'in the know' are long gone from the company.
Before Christmas is before Thanksgiving. Why not both?
Labor Day is coming... most stores close between 6pm and 9pm Monday thru Saturday and 5-7 pm on Sundays depending on the location. That’s about the only real/accurate information you will get. You’re just going to have wait like everyone else

Some stores will shut their doors for the final time on Sunday and afterward other stores will be notified they're closing permanently before Christmas. You can take that to the bank.
