Having the same issue with finding a job. Just be sure to tell them that you would not go back to SW if they offered. Hasn't worked yet for me but maybe you will have better luck. Plus SW doesn't have to know.
He did this to himself. Will's FB account is public. Scroll down and you will see that he posted stories that put SW in a bad light. Those posts are still on his page. Whether you like it or not, this is against the company's social media policy.
Should the company inform him that he is not going to be invited back? Absolutely.
Should he expect to be invited back? No.
Good the word is finally gotten out that we got screwed.
If Seaworld were unionized. All of this would have never happened. The union wouldn’t have allowed it.

I feel for the guy. I'm waiting to see my position get posted one day. I am glad to see at least one person I recognize though get a chance to speak out. I am sure if the "black list" was real though he just earned a permanent spot on it thanks to our dear friend at the top. Reading that statement at the end by the "SeaWorld spokesperson" is so insulting though. You have someone in the spot not working that you are taking applications for and you are talking about welcoming ambassadors back... you have someone right now you could welcome back and why aren't you? Hmm...
And I don't know of anyone else having this problem but the moment any job talking to me hears I am furloughed they become incredibly scared to go forward hiring me since you know, they are afraid I will abandon them the moment I get called back. It would be nice just to have a permanent answer so I am not lying to potential future employers.
