Only dudes I've seen bring up the race card are the same "hard workers" showing up half hour late DAILY or doing everything they can to F*** a job into the ground then they pull out that race card. It's sooooo old, it's beyond obvious and it's been going on forever. The UP is solely responsible for bringing horrible employees that work when they feel like it, worthless when they do show up and when you hire based on race numbers to avoid bad press then who's the racist now? America's long party fed up with being held hostage with race card policies.
Big difference between racism and favoritism. Don’t expect change if you just cower in the corner. You don’t have to be a minority to be a karen either.
ok is he actually being passed up, or is he declining the position. I don't think it was relevant to announce the color of his skin though. If this person has a Bachelors degree, then he's obviously educated. That why I was asking if he was declining it.
I work with a black guy who has a bachelors degree and gets passed up on any type of management job. He is a hard worker but calls our manager out on his b—s— and our manager makes sure he never gets any type of manager job. If you don’t play the “UP game” of kissing a– you won’t ever move up.

The best thing anyone at UP who is being harassed or discriminated against can do for themselves is to document the incidents and pursue litigation. UP has been sued (and lost) numerous times for EEO issues and violations.
The racism, s-xism, homophobia, nepotism, et al. are just the icing on the cake. Even without any or all of them, UP would still be a miserable place to work. All of the above just make it even more so.
Well guys at my terminal that don’t look like most of the other guys are excused for being over their attendance points. Hmm strange. I think it’s funny either way you look at it this place doesn’t play fair.
