Dear Fearless Leaders:
Please look hard at who benefits from the layoffs as I would hate to see more inept leaders being promoted like they did in the past ie: Engineers becoming Head of Operation Readiness, Purchasing in Finance, etc etc. Look at talent outside SG if a replacement is needed for the top heavy removed as we do not need more toxity, inept leaders plaguing the company. I am standing back in my bubble watching.
Can someone tell me who the director of compliance was that was cut?
I support cutting the VPS, sun VPs and director's under the VPs. Project Management is over staffed with too many Director's, Sr managers and staff. The department can be eliminated as the engineers do the project tracking in their departments.
Work is duplicated as they do not even do real PM work...ie jira, schedules etc...
Compliance can be cut no submission are happening.

Here is where you've failed in the current RIF. You need to go to your EVP's and say cut 20% of your staff EXCLUDING engineers ( that actually make the company). That means the myriad of sub-vp's and senior directors and their directors..... Let me further define "engineer"....I don't mean the offshore hackers. I mean the U.S engineers that fix the offshore code to make it functional. Do you realize you could cut 90% of your engineering staff by using highly educated U.S engineers that are looking for employment. On deaf ears.
I have not heard. I am still furloughed. I heard the director of compliance is gone. Not sure if laid off or furloughed.
