Apparently they weren't good at it. They got caught. Birds of same feather flock together. Do nothing Oxy has no integrity just like the asterisk Astros. Kids should be taught not to cheat. Whats the point of playing if you are not any good and have to cheat?
Go Stros!! If you know anything about baseball you would know sign stealing has been going on forever. Astros just got good at it just like the Yankees and Red Sox. Kids start stealing signs and passing it around the dugout all the way down to Little League. It just keeps getting done as you go up the ladder of baseball. Oxy probably had a long-term contract on the sign and the boxes. Might as well use them if you are going to pay for them.
Top brass from both companies slap d—s apparently. I just think it is ironic the same year they put up the sign is the same year they are accused of sign stealing the World Series. LOL They fit right in the Oxy culture. Oxy always ruining a good thing.
What is the business purpose of the sign at the ballpark? The company doesn’t refine oil or sell gasoline so it cannot be for promoting products. It must be for stock market visibility or for recruiting.
