Thread regarding Saudi Aramco layoffs

IKTVA Initiative Unnecessary Costs

Instead of letting people go, the Company should consider canceling the IKTA Initiative in PSCM because it has no concrete accomplishments, even after years of efforts and millions of dollars spent. PowerPoint presentations and awards to undeserving locals is all this initiative has ever accomplished. Where are the new industries in the Magic Kingdom? Where is the increased hiring of locals within the Kingdom? Where is the increased Direct Foreign Investment? No measurable economic gain has ever come of this initiative. Where are the investors that are naive enough to hire the unmotivated, morally-corrupt, inept and lazy locals? This is turning out to be yet another expensive fad that has cost the Company millions.

Y’all stirring up the locals and they want to retaliate.
The Aramco corporate culture of retaliation is why nobody tells their clueless managers how they feel.
You got a day of work from these people and you paid them for it. You have to be a goat blowing dumba$$ if you think a fawning thank you or anything else is owed for that beyond the day of work you bought. Aramco is a technical and career and time-wasting sinkhole.
You want good things said about your company then by all means turn yourself into a best in class company and employer like you used to be before you fouled it up by saudi-izing it.

It's no secret that the majority of contracts from Saudi Aramco are going to someone's relative. Because everyone is related. Without this system, the people would starve. If they had to compete for business with outside firms, all the money would be going OOK. As long as everyone is satisfied, who really cares?

Everybody around the world knows that the locals over here are way too lazy, inbred and dumb to employ for anything more than royal wipers.

Smoke and mirrors, the shuckin and jivin, endless rhetoric, virtue signalling, useless studies and projects dreamed up by hack managers and supervisors, and a climate of distrust ...these are some of the words and phrases used to describe an expat's experience at Aramco.

Should have know that any country that has no strip clubs, and bans the sale of booze and pork is a huge red flag.

Ah! I spot a troll! Not a very well hidden one, but a troll none the less!

Maybe after crawling from under your paymasters desk, washing away his protein donation and making yourself presentable, you’d like to engage in a sensible conversation rather that spouting the company rhetoric and horse sh1t.

Appears clear you’ve taken the full injection of protein also and are busy clambering to save your worthless hide, having sold your dignity and soul for the price they’re willing to pay for it.

Some of us retain our dignity and cannot be bought, hence the reason we either leave or are terminated as trouble makers (simply because we tell the truth!).

Hope the sale was worth the price they paid. My dignity and self worth are not for sale.....

Watch out everyone. Some of these comments may rattle the natives by telling the truth about the Magic Kingdom.

You stated: “Why do u need....”
You must be a real patronizing expat or local pretending to be one. Like all locals, you are not very smart, suffer from moral turpitude, lazy and devoid of any common sense. It is obvious that you are worried about your future with the company

Why do u need to post ur opinions here. Are u that afraid to speak to ur supervisors. What do u hope to achieve. This is total betrayal of ur company. Have some shame. Cowards and dishonourable scumbags are what you are. Im an expat and after reading ur sickening posts I wouldn’t blame the company if they got rid of all expats. What a disgrace you are. U earn all that money and instead of contributing in a positive way through proper channels, u show ur venomous nature on a public forum like this.

New Business Development has done far more for the Kingdom than PSCM’s IKTVA program. Why does the Company need to spend duplicate resources when PSCM is not producing any more than PowerPoint presentations? The money saved here could save the jobs of many good workers.

Like the IPO, IKTVA is turning out to be yet one more In-Kingdom Total No-Value Added initiative.

IKTVA is just another scheme to obtain front money to create businesses within the Kingdom for the benefit of the adult children of the Senior VPs within the Company.
