last year we had 150 people, now 50, layoff started this July 22, 2 seniors engineering vp resigned, one of them hired 2 absolutely useless interns before he left, QA team completely gone, good managers gone, but the 2 intern who barely code sh– was kept. Someone higher up need to stop picking people off by teams and learn outsourcing is never the way to go.

Ahahaha I have to show this to the dudes ( bet it is R &K) they are gonna love it :). Give them a credit though they are so young I am sure they will get much better. Besides they are not completely useless in fairness. But yeah I've seen brighter youngsters before (myself for example). Guess Verifone might not be the most desirable place to attract such?

Francisco Partners has totally ruined Verifone, but hey, that's the plan. Run it into the ground and write off the loss. What else makes sense ? Who would want to buy it ? Losing market share. Don't believe anything coming from management because they are lying to the employees.
Those interns are probably paid like $20/hr. It's crumbs compared to engineering and VPs.
