Rumor here is DFA is planning a company wide restructure. Wages and benefits will be adjusted to match existing DFA pre 2020 structures.

If you think your UNION is going to save you. You are dead wrong. DFA holds all rights now. Including your soul. It is there discretion to close you up and amend contracts.
Well the way dfa is running things since takeover plants will be shut down and negotiations will be nonexistent!! Same clowns in charge and off doing god knows what !! We will all be bankrupt before 2022
Unions are a joke
So DFA has put together their negotiation plan. A little early, but not really news.
Most companies do this. They have a list of everything they want to start with as company proposals, a list of where they OK ending up (musts vs. wants), and a list of things that they absolutely won't compromise on (pension other being number one on the "will not compromise" list).
A well run union should do the same as it gets closer to negotiation time.
But everything still has to be negotiated unless DFA is ready to deal with a strike or file bankruptcy. As we all learned recently, negotiations after bankruptcy are a sham.
Gd luck getting that by the union...the contract expires 12/31/22...and i will be enjoying my pension....why always negative and hate here??? Walmart is hiring now

I make $80K as a salesman...all I do is land new account after new account. Will sales salary be safe?
That's not a rumor that's fact. Contract extensions were for two years anyway. Our plant will probably be closed by then anyway.
