Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

737 Cancellations and Deferrals

If 737 production is going to only be at mid-single digits by the end of this year, how does Boeing expect to keep from laying off yet another 1/3 to 1/2 of the remaining Puget Sound employees who work on the 737 over the next 2-3 months?

It is impossible for Boeing to be k–led off...just like Enron will never be k–led off...oh wait...never mind!

Boeing workforce will be cut to half of what it was at the beginning of this year. SPEEA website shows two additional rounds of layoffs between now and December.
The job cuts will continue well into 2021.
787 rate will be cut further. Possibly down to 2/month. 777X will see a suspension of production.
And yes, it is headed for bankruptcy. Just like many of the poor employees will be. Just that there will be no bailout for the employees.
