Beginning of inter company layoffs based on previous standing

Layoffs are starting this week of employees that were not in good standing with either company. Ex current sprint employee deemed not rehirable by T-Mobile and vice versa.

Legal team got lay offs and demotions. Managers that were left then chose all of their friends to stay in place and those that were not part of the “in crowd” were sent yo phones.

Its all about being part of the “club”. I was a business analyst who got laid off. The person who is backfilling my position was a project mgr who knew nothing about reporting but was super close to the group manager and director. The NTM shoves diversity down your throat but is yet protecting their white males.

Are those employees being terminated or laid off? Are they actually able to terminate based on something at the previous company?
