Are Paycuts Like Mini-Layout?

You're spreading the pain to the masses. It still seems like a regressive shift, those at the bottom of the pay scale feel the pain more. I am thinking correctly on this?

Does the company do furloughs, or educational sabaticals, or anything short of being shown the door via Volunteering or an outright Layoff?

An employment lawyer I heard on a talk show said that if an employer cuts your pay you can consider a dismissal and you have the legal right to a severance. It doesn't hurt to confirm that if you are one of those folks who is unhappily left behind and want out.

Yes I have worked there. Cut payroll but don't cut the dividend. Let's see how 2Q results go.

The company has been very transparent with all of the information. If you worked there you wouldn’t be asking the question and you would have a different viewpoint.
