Textron is not bankrupt yet but that's gonna happen very soon (In my opinion). There is no way that we'll survive this down turn. Things will get even uglier and the aerospace is going to suffer the most. It's sad but liberating at the same. And we'll not be the only company to fold, just look around you and see how many companies are struggling

Lets look at the economics.
For 25 hours of flight, a jet card can cost: Light Jets: $120,000 to $150,000. Mid Jets: $170,000 to $200,000. Heavy Jets: $275,000 to $375,000.Jul 13, 2018
One business class commercial airline ticket LAX to JFK $1240.00 .... 21 hours flight time.
Commercial = $7440.00 = 1240.00 x 6 passengers.
Light jet = (the Cheapest) is 120,000.00 / 25 hours = 4800.00 hour.
- 00 x 21 hours = $100,800.00 to fly 6 people.
$100,800.00 or $7440.00 to fly six people 21 hours not many company's can throw that kind of money around.
Private aircraft is about to takeoff. Companies are going to start investing in buying their own planes or buy into NetJets or Wheels Up. People are going to be apprehensive about flying commercial for business, and companies won’t want their execs to fly commercial around a bunch of possibly sick or contaminated passengers. Airlines will take a huge hit, but once the pandemic clears and people are able to return to their daily lives, expect a rise in the number of privately owned aircraft flying, and Textron owns two of the biggest brands.
A permit being "pulled" means they got a permit to build something...Not that the permit was taken away. the fact that textron is investing 10 mil in the building means they have the money to invest dipshit
If textron is a healthy company with cash on hand then why was the building permit pulled on plant 3? $10 million permit pulled on rebuilding damaged property https://www.bizjournals.com/wichita/news/2020/06/08/permit-pulled-for-textron-aviation-building.html
You're high.
Textron is a healthy company. They have plenty of cash on hand. Companies lay off when the demand for their product is not in line with the number of employees they have. They have to do this or they will go bankrupt. https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/TXT/textron/cash-on-hand
They would move Longitude over to the west side and let Beech keep their direlict aircraft and sell Beech before that happens.
Why are people so scared?
Oh good lord. There is no way textron will go bankrupt. Jesus Christ people need to calm the f— down!!
