Well I saw in the Chronicle where Oxy is leasing at Greenway through 2031. I sure hope the owners clean up the building and do things like add new carpet, paint, replace ceiling tiles and so on. The paper makes it sound like a really nice place, but I think it needs a lot of work. Hopefully they will get to work and get some upgrades done before we have to go back.

Facilities Dept. is sh–, like I said....Starting with facilities management on 7th floor to the Concourse Mail room. Facilities is responsible for ALL building items. Ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, office chairs, desk, and furniture/desk replacements. Light and fixture replacements. Other small things as well like hanging pictures, replacing broken coffee pots, emptying recycle bins.
You guys are not reporting these things, or like I said facilities department is sh– or slow as hell now...It would not shock me one bit.
My suggestion is to request for higher quality items from your department manager and see if they can have these things accomplished through facilities. I doubt it. Carpet tiles are thin and replaceable for a reason, because chairs, coffee, and other things mess them up pretty easy.
They have a cookie cutter style with their building style because every so often departments are rearranged or complete floors are rebuilt. Rumors has it they have Keurigs on the 31st floor while you other guys are drinking breakfast blend. They can afford it, they cheap a– just don't want to pay it.
I just think it's funny how many people hate this sh– hole lol. No I'm not the karma troll, even though some probably think I Am and vice versa.

I was told Greenway offices were around 40 million a year to lease. Hopefully they got a better deal than the last lease. For 40 million a year we should be working in a lot cleaner and state of the art building.
Sounds like it is already committed to. Perhaps the worker density at the office will be less once assets are sold.
Oxy could save a crazy amount of cash by keeping work from home going for another year. Anyone have an estimate on how much it cost to lease a building and parking in Greenway per year?
Not a pretty place to work, but a decent and functional place to work. Toilets areas that don’t smell like urine would be nice. I doubt very many of us keep our houses that way. Carpet that is dirty and can’t be good for us to breath. I put it on the building owners. They hardly put anything into repairs or keeping the building looking fresh. If your going to lease until 2031 pressure needs to be put on the owners. The elevator waiting area on 17 looks like the carpet was put in 20 years ago, and stained ceiling tiles are ridiculous. The owners need to step up.
They can’t afford a nice office building. And they belong in a slum.
Taking the under that Oxy will be in existence til 2031. Like Icanh will leave his money trapped in Oxy another 11 years. He would be dead before that lease is up.
Put LIDS on all toilets ! This much office space is not needed anymore. Cut it out to save money, WFH and bring us in groups on alternate days.
