Joined Hycalog in the 90s and it was flying with good morale. Although so-called senior management in Conroe like Lurch and the Tank Mechanic couldn't run a bath (What happened to 1 in 3 and the Pillars of Success?), the numpties in Stonehouse made it an easy decision to shut it. When you hear people in "responsible" positions make comments like "just think of it as someone else's money" and also look after clueless gophers just because they are no danger to their positions then you know you are doomed if the money gets tight.
Disgraceful that so many resources have been squandered and that potential employment in Stonehouse for future generations has been lost, it should have been a blue-chip company. I guess a certain person's legacy has been sealed after all!

Was not just the UK, alot of RH personnel were gutted from the company. Some top performers on many levels and continents purged from the payroll.
