He also went out of his way to talk down to you, and try to make you feel stupid if you needed assistance or ever asked a question. Never wanted to be bothered and always acted annoyed. Had no business being a supervisor of others if couldn't treat people with respect. Superiority complex.

Once you get home for the day, your work is not over. There is administrative work that must be done and you are not compensated for. If you have a good supervisor, he approves administrative time for this and so you are. If you've got a supervisor who is not, such as lacking any interpersonal skills (was even sued and disciplined for it), is a micro micro micro micromanager to the ilk degree who loves to flex his muscle, for no good reason other than perhaps he must enjoy it, then that wouldn't even be considered.

I have worked for Acosta 10yrs started on the Blue Team ended up on the Purple team. I have had wonderful managers thru out my journey. I enjoyed working with them . I made $12.56hr it paid car payment and credit cards. My husband use to say it cost him a fortune for me to work there 2 brand new cars 2000 miles a month plus high end ins. But like I always told him well honey it could be worse . Company just made a few bad choices when it come to some of the CEO's they lived high and mighty . That's all I have to say.

I have been working for Acosta for 5 years on purple team. And not everyone is a lazy warm body. We get paid minimal amount of money with sh– load of driving and chaotic task list where we bounce all over the stores trying to meet the requirements of the clients. I didn’t get paid for my mileage as I was promised for 4 months and was offered ridiculous hours. HR is a joke and you’ll never get a reply from them. Store associates are rude and ignorant and hardly know a f—ing thing about retail business. They have downsized and fired the managers at Acosta. I know some people like to get paid while sitting on their a– 20+ miles away from the location they supposed to be but this company is an extortionist. Anyone who is loyal and value their job would do their job as it was intended. Hearing you talk about warm bodies chilling in parking lot brings to my attention the lazy store managers and associates that are just miserable lost souls who can hardly spell a word and are hateful for their lack of freedom. Not to mention terrible at customer service. While we get about 300 questions to answer to rationalize their incompetence at their job. Can’t even get a price right on the display. Walmart employees are like high schoolers always chilling in groups talking sh– and most of them can’t even speak English so good luck with your sarcasm. Get a life and you are minimum wage as well with the sh–tiest job possible.

Yeah never trust a company you work for. Doesn’t matter who they are. It’s terrible if any company treats their employees like that during COVID. Best thing to do is expose them.

I wonder how this will affect the paid time off Acosta 'Promised' them as essential first line responders, when they were still full time employees if they contracted covid 19, or if one of their families members did? Or if they needed to quarentine, in addition to using their accrued leave time. This promise also included paying for leave time they had not YET accrued, but what WOULD have been accrued by the end of the year, should they contract the virus, or had to quarentine, and needed ADDITIONAL time off. The paid leave 'promised' was for full time hours to be paid, not part time. Is this promise now broken because they decided to cut hours? They continued to work, putting their lives at risk. Acosta needed them to work, and so they worked. They also needed to work. But thought they would be taken care of.

Addendum....., And blue team, green team, yellow team, etc. It is fortunate these teams are not affected this time. All worthy people and dedicated employees, just like the purple team. Last year due to a reorganization throughout the Texas region, the purple team lost their excellent and outstanding supervisor, who had been with Acosta at least 30 years but was laid off. This was only because of regional changes. Don't listen to the hater's and their garbage. They don't have a clue about the requirements of this job.

The purple team received a conference call, and were told their hours are being cut to part time, because Acosta has lost some marketing customers they represent. The exact number of part time hours was not explained. This only affected the purple team, that inventories those customers. It is up to employees on the purple team if they want to accept fewer hours or decide to leave the company. If they decide to stay, they retain their accrued leave time saved up to date. If they decide to leave, they will receive severence pay. Nothing was explained if accrued leave time money not used would be paid, and included in addition to the severence pay. The call was set on mute, so no one could ask questions, only listen to the caller. They were told they would hear from human resources with additional details, how this will affect their company benefits as part time status, and the process entailed of the employee's decision to retain employment part time, or discontinue employment, both of which would be effective July 3rd. They could ask questions then. Do not listen to the haters. They have no clue of the job and everything that is required of these employees. Just ask the orange team.

So sad if true. These low wage, worthless, lazy warm bodies, will have a difficult time find another job that will let them wander around stores doing nothing or sitting in parking lots faking their work.
