I heard there was a email that went out today about stores closing not sure if the general managers got a not from corporate about closing August 30th 2020?! Please let me know

How many stores were on this list?
Well, you know New Jersey was in the midst of passing a new labor law. It included severance for both part time and full time employees based on years of service(1 week for every year worked)and giving employees 90 day notice when a job is going to be closing. This applies to any company with 100 or more employees. Anyhow because of the pandemic that law won’t be passed until 90 days after this public emergency is over. Transformco got a break because now they aren’t legally obligated to pay anything if they close these stores beforehand.
Yup they are on the list.
