A bankrupt company that just got bought out and your expecting hazard pay not gonna happen I just want the sales team to get a set and put new work on for us so we can whack the company at contract time
Heard of some lowest of the low paying employers around here paying hazard pay and those minimum wage folks coming to work every day for less money then they'd make on unemployment certainly need it. But know people who work in jobs where this pandemic did actually put them at greater risk (nurses, cops) that didn't receive a dime extra. Extra pay always nice, but the belief that you are entitled to it when the risk in doing your job is less than the risk that you take going to the grocery store is absurd.
On the front line of what, you climate controlled fluid filling room sitting on a stool watching your filler go around for your entire shift... yeah you deserve recognition and rewards for being such a hero. Think of the nurses, EMTs, cops, etc that actually had to do something instead of yourself for once.
You were able to work when a significant amount of people had no income and you got overtime so I think you actually made out pretty well. Everyone wants more or thinks they are special, here’s your gold star.
Wah wah wah grow up
