No one is walking around with a fever feeling fine.
I’m no management, I am an employee who works at a facility daily who really wants anyone who comes to know before they get to my building if they have a fever. That’s all. No need to attack.
Fun fact its actually illegal to require employees purchase their own tools or ppe,if said company requires them to perform you're job.Also illegal to require non paid company work off the clock for w-2 employees....

The temperature screen is supposed to be done at your home before you travel to work. Do a lot of people really not have thermometers at home? If you are waiting until you are at the office or depot to take your temperature you are doing it wrong, because now you have exposed the facility if you end up having a fever.
They are supposed to provide me with all the safety equipment so I can perform my job safely...gloves, mask, hard hat etc... so if this is to help me and other employees stay safe then why aren’t they providing some kind of temperature screen either at the depot/ office or sending up an thermometer? In NYS aren’t employees required to provide safety equipment?
If you don't have a thermometer and answer the question yeah or nah you are falsifying documentation. I thought that was frowned upon, atleast that's what Agility says
I asked my supervisor if I should take my temperature rectal or orally and would the company provide Vaseline. He wasn’t amused. Yet I have meetings out in the field and still have not been provided a mask. I have even asked repeatedly for them and got nothing. Lucky I found another job and am leaving next week. Good luck guys!
