There is a rumor of layoffs at the GOB. This is in order to meet O&M spend cut targets. Anyone in management over the age of 57 regardless of years at the company to be cut.
Digital has sure added a lot of middle management in the past few years. I wonder how many of them will go as a result of this cut.
Always has been a lot of fat in the G-B. Ameren should look at everyone working at home as an opportunity and cut back.
Layoffs are quietly happening and have been since October. No announcements or discussion. People are just no longer there. And agree there is a lot of fat at the GOB. Lots of old school middle management who do nothing and produce nothing other than politics and bureaucracy.
