Rock Springs TX derailment

Congrats to Fritz and Vena. PSR is going great. Nothing like piling up 60 cars next to the Highway. I'm sure the BLEVE will be making the rounds on the evening news. Good thing we don't need to maintain track anymore

Yes, psr caused me to run that switch. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

PSR does cause more derailments and more employees losing their lives the only id–ts that think it doesn’t is the kool aid brainwashed management team

To say that derailments are up, but then blame it on the employees doing the work really showcases the upper management team.
I'd wager that the person blaming human factors is high up in safety or married to someone in the safety department. It isnt PSR, we just need to hire smarter people........(i know this is MOSTLY bs but that is reality)
PSR didn't cause a problem. The dummies trying to do the work aren't smart enough. That is what the person below me said in upper management coach speak.

When maintenance is pencil whipped on cars and track inspections this is what you get. Everyone that works for this company knows exactly what is going on at this point. Blaming this on employees who are being rushed to build monster trains or are being told get it out of here pass its inspection and go to the next one. The company even acknowledged that derailments were up but failed to take responsibility for their part in all of this as well with their pat on the back look at us addressing the “real” issues plaguing the company straight up series of web articles. Arguing about this $hit doesn’t fix the issue the only way to fix the issues are to hold those in charge accountable for the policies they created to speed up processes that shouldn’t have been changed in the first place. There was a reason they took time to inspect and put trains together In the past and that was to attempt to avoid accidents like this yes they happened but not as frequently.

They’re up due to employees screwing up.

Human factor derailments are up in the yards that took out humps. That’s because the crews don’t follow railroad 101 rules. You can say “well if they hadn’t gone to psr we wouldn’t need to know how to do our jobs”. But human factor is human factor is human factor.

If it was in Wyoming and there was an explosion, would anyone hear it? Must have been picked up by satellite.

You can have a fire without gasoline, but if you pour gas on it, it makes it worse. Try and get that through your thick head. There have always been derailments but the disregard for safety that PSR promotes and the toxic culture at UP can be blamed for the deaths the past two years and the larger scale of the derailments. Bigger trains equals bigger messes. Nobody has any respect for any words that come out of the mouths of Lance or Vena when it comes to safety. Their only concern is money. And that’s all you care about either. Sit this round out.

Yes PSR is why derailments are happening whoever doesn’t think so they are part of management then!Freight cars are not being inspected anymore because the id–t managers wants to please Vena and let everything broken leave their yards! So hopefully more derailments happen soon and often

You’re a joke. So you think derailments are new to psr and all derailments are psr related. That’s all we need to know about you.

Yes. Derailments are a new phenomenon scientist will have to explore. Since the advent of PSR, there’s also a new thing called “derailments”. Stay tuned.
