What checks and balances are in place to verify what type cleaning was performed ? What was actually cleaned and how? How many times a day a Week areas will be cleaned. How are people entering the bussiness screened and tested? Way to many moving parts for any allscripts leadership team to comprehend
Kudos to youfor taking steps to protect your team!

I applaud your efforts to plan ahead and your concern for your team members. One can only hope that other managers will follow your lead. Thank you for being proactive.
I can’t speak for other teams, but I can tell you that I have encouraged my team to work plan on working remotely until at least Labor Day. We were down to 4 days in the office and once we do go back to normal I’ll have everyone work remotely 2x a week. I created a plan, took it to my AVP and he approved it without hesitation. I have every interest in keeping my team safe and comfortable.
“ Let's hope management is listening to your concerns.”
No worries, Legal is. Corporate America’s second greatest fear is lawsuits from employees infected by employees.

If that's the case Allscripts is a truly backwards company using theory X management (meaning people hate to work, are lazy and must be watched at all times in order to get their work done). Progressive companies encourage their employees to work from home. It lowers the cost of office space and most realize that they'll more work time out of their employees since they no longer have a commute. These progressive employers also realize that if a WFH employee doesn't get their work done the problem is with that single employee. The don't punish the other WFH'ers because of one bad apple.
If managment starts trusting WFH they will pay based on lowest salary they can get away with anywhere in the country, not based on cost of living where you live. For Allscripts this probably means anywhere in the world, so they will only retain the cheapest workers.
Good points. Let's hope management is listening to your concerns.
Thanks for creating this topic. In our office workers sit very close together - so we can "collaborate".
What this really means is that we can be "watched". The management does not like people working from home either, and has a restrictive WFH policy - which was loosened during the pandemic.
Now that the "stay at home" policy has been lifted I have no idea what the plans are for our office. I am not hopeful that I will able to continue to work from home. I am very worried that the virus will spread like wildfire if measures are not taken to enforce proper distancing when I return the the office.
States lifting “stay at home” policy does not make me feel safe to return to the office where I sit very close to my co-workers with few to no barriers between us. Open office design at Many of our offices is not conducive to social distancing. Rather be careful and WFH as long as there is no vaccine or open testing for all. Covid resurgence is a real possibility in many areas.
About 2 weeks ago, in TJ’s Friday morning open forum, it was indicated that it was too expensive to modify cubicle areas for social distancing to occur. We are all still working from home for the most part. Visited Raleigh office few weeks ago and there seems to be hand sanitizer stations every floor. There are signs in elevator for no more than 4 people in elevator and spaces are marked off to where to stand. In the company-wide town hall a few weeks back PB and RP indicating we would return in a phased approach and there was no hurry to do this. WFH has worked well and I will continue to do as long as my management is agreeable. I would prefer to keep my job and WFH rather than have company spending tons of money refactoring cubes. I for one would like to think that we can return to our pre-Covid salaries vs $ being spent on cubes. I for one would want mandated Covid testing for all before returning to the office and absolute Stay at Home mandate if you even have any symptoms.
Layoffs of course! lol
You're kidding, right?
