Closing the plant for a short time might be the best solution depending upon the circumstances and where the person worked. But you can count on Final Control plants to do the bare minimum ... terrible leaders who don’t care about employees.
Would you rather they close the plant and lay everyone off?
While the company is not perfect AT ALL, the problem might be your management. The site where I work has been really cautious, disinfecting all the time, bringing a company to a spray the site, etc. When there have been possible cases, everything is closed and disinfected again.
