@6ymo - I posted as well and encouraged 2 others to do the same. Two filed in NY and one in MN. Does anyone know when these lawsuits begin? I got another call from an attorney about two weeks ago asking more questions. Looks like they are trying to settle out of court with a big price tag but the attorney didn't think they would be able to and it will go to court. Either way they lose., it was that kind of payout.

No only for lack of diversity but for all discrimination (Age, race, s-x, s-xual orientation) we see as company policy we need to start filing the complaints and blowing that whistle...

or NY state
https://dhr.ny.gov/complaint

Federal
https://www.eeoc.gov

State of MN
https://www.workplacefairness.org/file_MN

State of texas

Wow. Interesting. In previous threads, the board members were all horrible people who couldn't possibly understand how to fix this company, so they were just going to sit back and collect their exorbitant compensations and watch Resideo spiral downward. Now that someone acknowledged the lack of diversity on the board, we should believe that the board members are the most experienced, accomplished, educated, and hardworking options that were available. Huh! Wonder what happened there.

Diversity is a good thing. People with different life experiences and perspectives working together lead to more complete thinking and decision making. If everyone on the board has very similar backgrounds, experiences, and training, they will tend to instinctively make decisions based on what they are familiar with, unchallenged, regardless of whether their decisions are what's best for the company.

This is not "liberal" thinking. It's decades of research and should be common sense as well.

Agree!!!! Skin color, s-x, s-xual orientation doesn’t qualify you...accomplishments, hard work, delivery , experience and education doe regardless of color, s-x or s-xual orientation.

Board diversity has long proven to make a successful company since it is an all encompasing representation of society today. Diversity generatea different thinking and allows for new ideas. Diversity includes gender, race, background and age. Unfortunatelty board selections are still manipulated by white males over 60, since the majority of these gentlemen continue to ontrol boards across the US. And they want to keep it that way.

This website probably doesn’t agree with equality between female/ male et people of color?
Even though they may be disproportions when lay-off because of that.
We have a long way to go.... the older white male is very entrenched especially in many locations such as Melville. They actually laugh about those posting here... sad
