Thread regarding BB&T Corp. layoffs

One Question

What are you waiting for? The BB&T culture we loved for years is gone, half of your professional network is gone, opportunities are gone, and you are months away from being one of many people in the job market with BB&T on your resume. Are you under the impression that the talent pool in Greensboro or Winston-Salem can compete with Atlanta? Staying the course worked at the BB&T of old, but BB&T is dead and gone.

You need to get proactive with your situation. Your cheese has moved. Admit it. Polish your resume and realize that Truist isn't a great place to work. You need to get out there ow before the market is saturated with BB&T folks.

I hope Kelly King enjoys his money for the thousands of people he sold out.

BB&T/Truist was absolutely the worst bank culture I’ve ever experienced during my 30 year work career in banking. Get out ASAP. I was absolutely shocked at the the lack of integrity, respect and professionalism from leadership and the culture of LDP cronyism. If you are a top performer or anyone looking for a culture that respects the golden rule, avoid this place like the plague!
