I am sure that SP would love to have the money back for that event. It did light up the social media airwaves for three or four days, but mostly at the request of Staples leadership. To be fair, it has been the Squircle and the Worklife magazine that has enabled Staples to weather the Impact of the economic downturn. Have a Coke and a smile.

Not hard to figure out if you been around while...connect the management dots from 2009 to current. Departures and promotions legacy Staples and CE = slow burn decline of Staples from great to barely mediocre.
Curious ...to the poster who says Staples was once a great company ( agree ) but that incompetent management drove it into the ground. ...Who was the leader when it was great ? What were they doing that made it so special ?

BCG was the brainchild who determined that relationships built prior to GTM over years and even decades with buyers did not matter either. Dumb.
