The names on the lists may have been reviewed by a human but systems and formulas were the origination.
Does anyone have the global count or percentage?

I heard roughly 10% of the US workforce, mostly in tech. They targeted billable services, which when not billable are considered cost centers.
I was notified today, Senior Manager, about 20 months with the company - a middle of the road review but low chargeability in 2020. I was too told it was 'the algo' that selected folks (whatever that means)
I was notified yesterday. I was suggested for promotion mid-year and expected it in August. 100% recoverable very busy. Was told the algorithm looked at role and impact for decision. Well, sh–. Would like to know all the aspects of “the algorithm” in this case. Very disappointing.
how many people were let go? Is this just a first round?
Several in our regional office were let go today. It seems that it's across Accenture and is a cost cutting measure. Those being let go have low chargeability and a high loaded cost rate.
Looks like if you had low chargeability or you were on performance improvement plan last term, you are gone. It doesn't matter how good you were.
Laid off from a UX job supposedly for chargeability, the one factor I have no control over. For all of its talk about valuing people, they sure don't back it up. Deeply disappointed in the BS.
Same here. Got notified 2 hrs ago citing b*** reasons.
I was let go an hour ago, citing my low chargeability in the current difficult business climate. Also this is Houston, where the local office is getting the double-whammy from depending on oil & gas.
Left a few wks ago. Dodged a bullet. Any word on Canada layoffs?
s—s. how many colleagues impacted in your location?
Despite being a high performing developer, with numerous amounts of great feedback from co-workers and delighted clients it makes absolutely no sense why i'm being let go.
I was also notified just hours ago. When asked for a reason, was basically told that it was a mysterious algorithm was the deciding factor, compared to how Equifax mysteriously creates credit scores.
Just notified I was let go. Even though I have high performance marks I was let go due to business factors. I’m heartbroken,
