I know there is a separate thread for GEA but its not very active. Just trying to verify if the June 17-18 dates that were "unofficially" posted in that thread are still valid? Thanks to all for your assistance!

Look on COS, they created new positions and notified selected employees to apply for them and make them compete for those "reorg" jobs. If you are not being told to apply, your chances of landing those jobs are next to 0. What this company is doing to its employees is disgusting and shady.

Is the severance package still the standard 1 week of pay for every year of service? With the $600/week unemployment expiring at the end of July, GE's timing is creating a perfect storm for all its laid off employees. Anyone able to negotiate a better package than the standard? If so, how?
Confirming with others, layoffs for salary are starting next week (24th) and finishing by end of June. Got info directly from GEA leadership. Hang in there!
Aviation layoffs already occurred June 3rd. Most plants laid off between 100-200 hourly. Salary is supposed to get whacked next week but not nearly as many. Maybe 15-25 per plant is what I’ve heard.
Thanks to all that have replied on this thread! I am not used to these things being dragged out for so long. I can only guess the "tributes" are being reviewed by HR and legal. I appreciate the posts. I will also update any news that I hear.
Aviation layoffs will be known by end of June 2020. It will be 3rd layoff in Aviation since January of this year. Morale is basically non-existent.
At DTD all hands HR said aviation layoffs for the 25% start before end of June but not sure of exact date yet. Maybe poster has it right at 17th - 18th. Also confirmed that healthcare is moving out of site and most will be let go. Around 40 healthcare are in the DTD. Good luck to those that are let go. Besides these facts I heard a rumor that corporate will take a hit. If you have any info on this please share.
Those are the dates. Is it just me or does it feel like death by a thousand cuts, the way GEA is dragging this out.
Dunno but they just laid off their Digital unit by dumping the headcount and cost into GE Digital
If you don't know by now means you dont need to know. Run along
