We keep hearing of more layoffs/packages in the East, does anybody really know if this is true and if so for ATS or USA? Tired of not knowing if I have a job in a month.

There simply is not any ATS fat laying around to trim.My suggestion is to get in with the "scabs" as I've heard them so lovingly referred too,and hold on tight.It is only a small matter of time before that is the only semblance,of a "career" left around here.Hire the jaded former employees with knowledge and experience,for pennies on the dollar.God speed...
I didn't leave by choice you jackss, I was only trying to inform others on this site as to what happened in my area. The more information people have the better off they will be to make whatever decisions they deem fit as to how they want to move forward or proceed. Talk about someone that needs to get a fcking life, look in the mirror. Smh.....all I can say is good luck to everyone.

Yes, the layoffs are true. This is coming from yours truly, a former ATS technician. They have shut down depots, fired....sorry (laid off) everyone at my local office with the exception of 2 maintenance men which I figure will only be a matter of time. Some got a severance package, some did not. They are focusing on switching completely to subcontractors for all installs and trouble calls because it's cheaper. As of last month I am now unemployed after investing nine years to this job. There are no guarantees with this company, no loyalty to there workers or the customers. Everyone is expendable so long as they make a profit. It's sad, Suddenlink used to be a well liked company, Altice has ran the name and the company into the ground and they don't seem to be slowing down.
Any word if this is true? I am in West and would like to know

It would be nice to get out with a package but they didn’t offer it, they chose. I could have saved someone else’s job.
Thats why i got out. I suggest you try an do the same. This time last man standing does not win. Just a friendly message from a former tech.
