Have all the notifications gone out? Do all the people who were slated for layoffs know already they've been affected?

Yes you should be worried. Every large company is always looking to reduce expenses and shed high priced employees outside of the seniors executive ranks.
There isn’t much you can do, but hope you are not the next target, as all companies operate the same. It really doesn’t pay to go somewhere else.
