There is a difference between being a trouble maker and someone who doesn't roll over and show their belly.

It is good to see the machine shop has each others back, a real tight unit supporting each other.

Brady bunch will all be looked after while everyone else will be shafted big time.

Why have baldy and Friday night not been furloughed when the supervisor looks out all their stuff for them and is never away from their machine? Fatty and Deano being stitched because they aren't teachers pet.

foremen and supervisors are needed to fabricate the points system to suit , they will be gone when the dirty work is over

Agree , furlough the experience and monitor whats left to see who ( if any ) are worth keeping , should take this stance throughout the whole company and get rid of the dead wood !

Looking from a different perspective the guys furloughed are safely put into storage and won't have to deal with what's coming next.
I fully expect once the consultation starts, it will be the guys still working who will be in the firing line.
Management just using this opportunity to nail down who will be let go once they've got all the stats.

Why have the foreman and supervisors not been furloughed as the don't bring any value to the company?

All the rattlesnakes will be exterminated after they have carried out the dirty work. Remember what happened to DM.

Should have started at the top then worked down to his 2 rattle snake henchmen! There the ones responsible for the piss poor working environment in the shop! Culture of back stabbing, sneaky, underhand tactics has put morale thru the floor. Looks Like the puppet master won’t be back anytime soon tho along with his porky puppet and fingers crossed we don’t hear to much s***e from his wimpy big mouth mate!

Why have both charge hands not been furloughed? One can't read a tape measure and the other sends operators to fatty to get help because he is useless.

It seems like that they just had indirect labor got hit last three weeks. DQ do not touch direct labor yet. Not done with 300.

Pay rates will be a big issue in this. DQ is notorious for doing everything cheap.

Why would you think any different. One operator trained a boy then got furloughed and the other boy kept that really makes sense although it could be about pay rates
