Yea, selecting those parameters from drop down menus to run an FEA is easy, and anyone with the brain of a kindergartner can do it, such as yourself. But picking the right parameters, their values, setting up the models and constraints to simulate something to produce close to realistic results need in depth knowledge and skills.

Finite Element is Easy. Nothing special about linear/non linear analysis, choosing over supports, remote loads, fatigue modules. Choosing meshing topologies, meshing sizes etc not difficult at all.
Especially if you just sit on the corner playing with your 3d and meshed models...
Designing wells to mitigate subsurface issues, as well as doing double role as running operation that generates revenue is much harder...
Nothing like acronyms.
Could have been FMECA or FMLA
And?
