I'm no longer with SGAS, but was there for a long long time. Did layoffs happen in UK? Just wondering cuz I thought UK was the one bright spot and heard they might be spun off at some point.
Thx.

How has the uk shake up ended up ? Hope this is the end of it. Well at least until the end of summer at the very least.
But seriously, sales leadership in the uk is running on fumes.
New Business Sales Manager ejected.
Public Sector Sales Manager ejected.
Unfortunately, the dye has been cast...
Have the sales sacrifices been named yet ?
It’s all a bit obvious to tell the truth.
So their is no longer any interest to do any business with channel or ito partners.
That puts all sales execs in this arena on the chopping board.
With no sales execs, their is no one to manage, so that’s their manager added to that pile aswell.
That’s 5 bodies already.
Is that enough for the last week of the quarter or do you think they could sneak in a cheeky 2-3 more for good measure ?
All a bunch of id–ts at the top!
Status of the UK Team is a continual $h1t show.
All the good people have gone and we are left with a bunch of lifers waiting for a payout or the new bunch of parasites brought in by Huggett.
Funny how the new ex daisy imports have still not delivered anything of any real value yet, however none of them are put at risk of redundancy whilst the rest of sales is walking the plank. This is the second time this has happened. No coincidence here. No coincidence that pipelines are being fabricated to keep people in place.
Funny how that Louise Barnes lady went from delivering a zero number at the end of her first year as a strategic sales lead, then was made a sales manager, then was put in charge of new business and now she has exited. All under the watchful eye of Huggett.
Not long left for the rest of us guys.
Did HG survive the latest round of cuts?
It k–led the US business as well ... they replaced people who had 15 year relationships with clients ... who knew how sungard operated ... who knew the equipment and procedures .....with cheap labor .... they didn’t even really care that it ruined the entire customer experience
Globalisation k–led the UK business! :-(
KT was phenomenal for PR.
Crazy how many good people once worked for SgAS.
Truly a case study of one bad decision after another...
Sad.
They should’ve spun off the UK and sold it ages ago when KT was ejected and then came back with an offer they should never have refused.
The rapid decline between then and now plus the demise of the only successful European business unit has pushed the UK out to become nothing more than a 5-aside Sunday pub league football team!
Bet the US team are kicking themselves for not selling off the UK when they had the chance.
A few casualties on the cards but not sure if they've gone yet.
The worse thing they did was not make KT CEO instead the bought in sergeant Bilko
From what I hear it's a bit a 5 hit 5 how these days. Good luck to those that are left. There used to be some great people in the UK before it all went overseas for cheap labour...pay peanuts, get cr@p service :-D
RS hanging by a thread. MS went global 4 years ago. Anyone good is off to Unitas.
Just rubbish left all the good people got canned or left
