That was Indiana state income tax. Not federal income tax. There is a difference.

Trump promised to save carrier jobs before the election. They’ve had layoffs every year since, despite receiving a transfer of wealth from taxpayers. Some of which are laid off taxpayers.

@zcu said he stopped layoffs. He didn’t. Many were laid off. Ask all those laid off or the local businesses that closed due to the layoffs. And why on earth would you rely on what Trump says without checking the facts?

You can YouTube it if you don’t believe me. There are several videos of Trump touting the saving of Carrier jobs.

With big layoffs. That’s not splitting hairs. And they paid Carrier. Carrier still laid off.

You can split hairs if you want. He took action and Carrier backed down. All of the jobs stayed in Indiana.

Trump didn’t stop layoffs at Carrier. Good try though.

The president stopped layoffs at Carrier in Indianapolis in 2016. He won’t stop them here because this railroad is not as important as Carrier.

Lance doesn’t work for the best interest of labor. He works in the best interest of share holders. So in that respect if short term share price increases are what they want, he is doing a good job. As far as what’s best for labor, we have to demand that. We do that through voting in our best interests, organizing, sticking together within the confounds of the law.

It's only because shops have been shut down and furloughs continue, that's the fastest way to raise their stocks. PSR is far from being over, expect more layoffs shortly. They same the cream for last. North Platte shop is on their radar for massive furloughs. It's in the works.
